DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
for the latest maintenance releases of HP ProLiant BL25p/BL45p Servers.

		1) Updated the System ROM with the latest support code for AMD 
		   Opteron dual-core processors.

		1) Resolved an issue where the Virtual Serial Port feature did not
		   work properly when using a serial console connection while 
		   loading Linux.  When a serial console session is in progress,
		   the data may stop transmitting.  Pressing Enter on the client
		   may allow progress to continue, but data transmission could 
		   stop again.  The issue has only been seen when the host system
		   is loading the operating system.


		2) Resolved an issue with the operating system reporting GART
		   Table Walk Machine Check Errors.  These errors are not harmful
		   and do not indicate an actual problem.  However, as these 
		   machine check errors being reported may cause concern to some
		   customers, the reporting of these errors will be disabled per
		   AMD's recommendation.

HOW TO USE:


  1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

  2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on a system running Microsoft Windows 2000, 
Microsoft Windows Server 2003, or Microsoft Windows XP and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP32503.EXE.


  3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded SoftPaq file:
SPxxxxx [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive 
to create diskette.


  4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file if you wish.

  5.  Insert this diskette into the diskette drive of the system to be updated.
