NOTE: To complete the installation, you must be the ROOT user with no X-server
running (init 3).

1. To check for existing NVIDIA packages, at the prompt type:
'rpm -qa | grep nvidia'

2. Remove any previous NVIDIA package. For example, at the prompt type:
'rpm -e nvidia-7667-1.1.x86_64.rpm'

3. To install the new package, at the prompt type:
'rpm -ivh nvidia-8174-1.1.x86_64.rpm'

NOTE: The previous steps install the package file on the workstation, but they
do not configure the new driver.

4. Configure the new package by executing the following script:
'/opt/hp/graphics/nvidia/configure'

NOTE: Step 4 places/builds and configures the NVIDIA accelerated graphics
module. It also moves any current XF86Config file aside and puts a standard
NVIDIA file in place.

For more information about this package, advanced installation options, and
more sample XF86Configuration files and options, see the documentation provided
in '/opt/hp/graphics/nvidia'.
