This package contains the firmware (BIOS ROM image) and the local and remote 
BIOS flash utilities for NVIDIA Quadro FX 540 Graphics Cards in the listed 
workstation models and operating systems.

NOTE: After the video card is updated with this video BIOS, HP xw9300 
Workstations using AMD Opteron 254 Processors may intermittently fail to resume 
from Standby mode.

- Fixes issue where analog monitors attached to the DB-15 port were not 
properly detected. Analog monitors attached to these ports are now properly 
detected and are no longer listed as ''Default Monitor.''

HOW TO USE: 
This package includes the following methods for updating the video BIOS:

- Use WinFlash32.exe and WinFlash64.exe to update the video BIOS directly in a 
Microsoft Windows environment.
- Create a bootable video BIOS CD.
- Create a bootable video BIOS diskette.
- Create a bootable USB Flash device.
- Use System Software Manager (SSM) or HP Client Manager Software (HPCMS) to 
remotely update the video BIOS.

1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to update 
the video BIOS.

3. Once the video BIOS update is complete, restart the workstation.
