DESCRIPTION:
This package creates files that contain a binary image for the System BIOS 
(ROM) for the listed notebook models with a 68DTD Family ROM. This package 
is used to flash the System ROM on target notebooks in a network. 
It requires System Software Manager (SSM). 

NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F10 on the target
notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then view
File/System Information.

ENHANCEMENT(S): 
- Adds an Administrator password that is used to remove the Power-On 
  password in the F10 Setup utility.
- Adds a setting in the F10 Setup utility to enable or disable DMA transfer
  mode for the hard drive. Once DMA mode is disabled, the system boots
  using PIO mode.

HOW TO USE:

NOTE: To flash the System BIOS on a target notebook in a network, the 
System BIOS image must be used with SSM.
 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Copy the SoftPaq to the file store.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS
PROCEDURE!
