PREREQUISITES: - For systems with the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 Network Connection and Intel PROSet Software: If Intel PROSet software is installed and the installed version is earlier than version 9.0, it is recommended that the Intel PROSet software be uninstalled before upgrading the driver. If the Intel PROSet software is required, install Intel PROSet 9.0.1 software (available in SoftPaq Number SP30765) after the driver is upgraded. - For systems with the Intel PRO/Wireless 2100: If Microsoft Wi-Fi protected access (WPA) support for Microsoft Windows XP Zero Configuration Service is required (refer to Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 815485), and if the current Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter for Windows XP driver version is version 1.1.6.0, install this SoftPaq before installing the update in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 815485. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files. The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed. You are prompted to specify the target directory for the files, or to use the download directory (default). NOTE: After the files have been unpacked, the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded in Step 1 can be deleted, if desired. NOTE: After the files are unpacked, the Setup program should run automatically.
