DESCRIPTION:
This package contains version 1.0a of the Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) 
high-definition audio class driver for the listed desktop models running the 
listed Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. This release supports the 
high-definition audio and modem implementations that were known to Microsoft as 
of 01 August 2004. This is the second version of this driver.

article 888111, ''Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio 
class driver version 1.0a available for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and 
Windows 2000.''

NOTE: This package is only for Microsoft Windows XP operating systems with 
Service Pack 1 (SP1). There are separate SoftPaqs available for the Microsoft 
Windows 2000 operating system with Service Pack 4 (SP4), and the Microsoft 
Windows XP operating system with Service Pack 2 (SP2).

HOW TO USE: 
1. If Version 1.0 of the UAA high-definition audio class driver is installed on 
the target computer, uninstall it.

2. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

3. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
