This package contains the WinFlash utility and a System BIOS image for 
the listed notebook models. The WinFlash utility is used to locally flash the 
System ROM on notebooks operating in a Microsoft Windows environment.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT move the external PS/2 mouse and the internal touchpad, or 
dock and undock the system during the BIOS upgrade.

HOW TO USE:

IMPORTANT: Do NOT move the external PS/2 mouse and the internal touchpad, or 
dock and undock the system during the BIOS upgrade.

To flash the System BIOS using SSM:

     NOTE: The System BIOS image must be used with SSM in order to actually
     flash the System BIOS on a target notebook in a network.

     1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a temporary, empty directory
        on your hard drive.

     2. Copy the SoftPaq .EXE file to the file store.

     IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS
     PROCEDURE!


To flash the System BIOS using the WinFlash utility:

     1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

     2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

     IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS
     PROCEDURE!
