        =========================================================

            Updated to improve performance for certain PCI-33 and PCI-66 expansion 
            cards. This ROM will improve performance for PCI expansion cards 
            that perform burst memory reads from system memory. This does not 
            affect performance of PCI-X or PCI-Express expansion cards. The 
            modifications to this System ROM version are known to improve 
            performance for PCI expansion cards utilizing the Intel i960 RD 
            chipset, the AMCC PCI MatchMaker chipset, and the PLX PCI9656-BA66BI 
            Chipset.




HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP30511.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP30511.EXE [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP30511.EXE if you wish.
