This package contains the HP Installer Kit for Linux - Red Hat Linux CD ISO 
image, as well as the .RPM file needed to enable the TG3 LAN for the listed 
workstation models running the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 4 Update 1 
(U1) Operating System.

PREREQUISITES: 
- A retail Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 4 Update 1 Box Set must be 
purchased separately and must be available when installing this SoftPaq.

HOW TO USE: 
1. Download the .tgz file to your local hard drive. Unpack the .tgz file with 
'tar -xvzf . An .iso and an .rpm component are unpacked.

2. To install the .rpm, use 'rpm -ivh .rpm'.

3. To use the .iso, burn the .iso file to CD+R bootable media. For example, on 
a Linux Workstation use the 'cdrecord' utility: 'cdrecord -v -eject speed=16 
dev=2,0,0 filename.iso' where dev= is the device address for the CD-ROM burner 
that comes from 'cdrecord --scanbus'.

3. Insert disc 1 from your Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation (WS) 4 Update 1 
box set. At the installer prompt type 'linux dd'. 

4. On the next screen, select the CD-ROM drive that you are using. Insert the 
Red Hat TG3 Driver Disk you created into the selected CD-ROM drive.

5. Continue following prompts until the operating system is sucessfully 
installed.
