DESCRIPTION:  Creates the 2-diskette set, Compaq Insight 
Management Agents for Portables for Microsoft Windows 95 and 
Microsoft NT 4.0, for use with Armada 1500 Series notebooks.  
This product provides local alerting and SNMP agents for 
Compaq Portable Computers supporting Intelligent Manageability. 
Local alerting notifies the user if the system temperature has 
exceeded normal operating conditions or an imminent drive 
failure has been detected.  SNMP agents allow the system to be 
managed by SNMP-compliant management applications such as Compaq 
Insight Manager.

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain two (2) formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

2. Download the Softpaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP3169.EXE.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
   SP3169 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskettes into a 
diskette drive to create the diskettes.

4. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP3169.EXE if you wish.

5. Before installing, review README.TXT on the created diskette.  
To install, click on Start, select Run, then enter:
    a:\setup
