        P51 HP ProLiant DL380 G4 system ROM (05/05/2005)
        =========================================================

                   Updated to work-around issue with PCI and PCI-X cards 
                   that do not retry delayed transactions within the 
                   appropriate amount of time. This condition was resulting 
                   in an NMI and bluescreen under Microsoft Windows operating 
                   systems. This issue was seen with the Stratis MPEG-2 
                   Decoder PCI Card. The issue would occur with any PCI card 
                   utilizing the Phillips SAA7146AH PCI-PCI Bridge.




HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP30419.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP30419.EXE [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP30419.EXE if you wish.
