The HPQFlash utility is used to locally flash the System BIOS on notebooks operating in a Microsoft Windows Operating System environment. Resetting System Defaults After upgrading the F.03 BIOS, you must restore system settings to the original default settings. To do this, complete the following steps: 1. Access system setup by pressing F10 when the HP logo is displayed during system startup (boot). 2. Use the keyboard arrow keys to move left or right to highlight "File" in the main menu bar. 3. When the File menu is displayed, scroll down to highlight “Restore defaults” and press Enter. Then press F10 to confirm the change. 4. Press F10 again, and then press Enter to "Save changes and exit." 5. When prompted to "Save Changes," press F10 again to restart the system.
