This package contains a utility that enables the update of the System BIOS for 
the listed desktop models and operating systems. The System BIOS can be updated 
directly from within the Microsoft Windows environment, or a bootable diskette 
or DriveKey can be created.

FIXES: 
- Fixes issue from SoftPaq Number SP29983 where the bootblock area was not 
programmed correctly when upgrading to the 1.14 BIOS. The BIOS binary version 
1.14 is the same binary that was provided SoftPaq Number SP29983, but in this 
SoftPaq, the bootblock programming issue has been corrected.

HOW TO USE: 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 

3. Choose one of the following three options when presented:
- Create BIOS Flash Diskette
- Create BIOS Flash DriveKey
- Flash System BIOS Now!

4. After the files have been unpacked, the self-
extracting file downloaded in Step 1 can be deleted, if desired.

WARNING: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR ATTEMPT TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER DURING THE 
UPDATE PROCESS!
