                IMPORTANT:  As noted in AMD's Technical Bulletin for AMD Opteron
		Multiprocessor Systems Running Linux, under rigorous quality control
		testing, an issue has been discovered that may on rare occasion
		result in a segmentation fault, kernel panic, or network transfer
		error.  This issue was exposed while running a highly specialized, 
		custom network exercise tool after many hours of testing under 
		extreme conditions in a synthetic test environment.  The issue was 
		seen in a Linux environment and has not been reproduced under any 
		Microsoft operating system.  The root cause is under active 
		investigation.  Although this issue is not specific to HP, and 
		there is no evidence of customer impact from this issue, HP is 
		providing an updated System ROM that prevents the problem
		from occurring.  HP has fully validated and qualified this new 
		System ROM.  As a precautionary measure, HP requires that all 
		customers immediately update their System ROM to this version.  
		By disregarding this notification, the customer accepts the risk 
		of incurring future related events.  For more information on this

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP30133.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP30133 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP30133.EXE if you wish.
