ENHANCEMENTS:
Downloading and installing this package applies the following HP-recommended
operating system settings for optimal performance in the blade PC environment:

POWER MANAGEMENT:
- Sets ''PowerButtonAction'' to ''Shutdown,'' which enables the power button to
shut down Microsoft Windows.

TIMEOUTS:
- Sets ''Turn off Monitor'' to ''0,'' which prevents the monitor from entering
Sleep mode.
- Sets ''Turn off Hard Disks'' to ''15,'' which causes the hard drive to Power
Down after 15 minutes of inactivity.
- Sets ''System Standby'' to ''0,'' which prevents the computer from entering
Standby mode.
- Sets ''System Hibernates'' to ''0,'' which prevents the computer from
entering Hibernation mode.

OTHER SETTINGS:
- Sets ''DMA'' to ''On'' for both Drive 0 and Drive 1 storage devices.
- Enables ''48bit-LBA'' (Logical Block Addressing) support for ATAPI drives
that are larger than 137 GB.
- Provides support for no video (''headless'') by modifying a registry key at
every restart (reboot) in order to prevent compatibility issues with 16-bit
applications.
- Enables NMI button support. Instead of generating a ''Hardware Error''
message, the operating system generates a ''full crash dump'' and does not
restart (reboot).
- Sets the Screensaver to ''Off.''
- Changes the ''IdleWinStationPoolCount'' value from ''0'' (the default) to
''4.'' This prevents F5 health monitors from causing hard drive access that
stops the drive from spinning down.
- Sets ''Wallpaper'' to ''Off'' in order to decrease RDP login time.
- Sets ''PS/2 Hot Plug'' support to ''On.''
