DESCRIPTION:
This package creates a ROMPaq firmware diskette that can be used to locally
restore or upgrade the System BIOS (ROM) in the listed notebooks with a
KAM Family ROM. 

NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F10 on the target
notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then view the BIOS
revision.

HOW TO USE: 

1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the diskette has been created, the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded 
   in Step 1, can be deleted, if desired.

4. Power Off the notebook.

5. Place the newly created ROMPaq Diskette in Drive A: and Power On the 
   notebook to update the system BIOS.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS 
PROCEDURE!
