Enhancements/Fixes: 

1. Issue Fixed: Loss of video sync when an unpowered Interface Adapter is connected to the KVM switch. 

Note: An interface adapter is not powered when the server it is connected to is powered off or when 
the IA is not connected to a server.

2. Issue Fixed: PS2 Interface Adapter update to fix key map issue with Mode 1 server. The Interface Adapter 
must be upgraded after first flashing the HP IP Server Console Switch to firmware version 3.0.1

 

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  
    The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename according to the SP Number above.
 
2.  Extract the "HP IP Console Switch FW v3.0.1 Linux.tgz" from the SPxxxx file downloaded from the web.

3.  From the directory where the zip file (.tgz) is downloaded, at the command prompt type:  gzip -d "HP IP Console Switch FW     v3.0.1.tgz" to a temporary directory this step will uncompress the .tgz file into a .tar file.

4.  From the temporary directory above, at the command line type:  tar -xvf "HP IP Console Switch FW v3.0.1.tar" to extract     the files.

5.  From that SP directory, use the detailed instructions located in the file 'TFTP Install Instructions' 
    to perform the HP IP Console Switch Firmware Upgrade Procedure.
