This package contains the NVIDIA (AMD64/EM64T) accelerated graphics driver for 
the listed workstation models and Linux operating systems.

- Is not kernel dependent.
- Takes advantage of the NVIDIA ".run" installer functionality.
- Can be used against several kernels within the supported distributions.
- Provides easy one-step configure/unconfigure scripts. 
- Installs an "init" script that automatically builds the driver during 
startup, as necessary, which provides support for users who change or update 
kernels. 
- Provides improved documentation, including information about how to take 
advantage of other, more advanced, installation options that are available. 
- Provides sample configuration files for XFree.

HOW TO USE: 
1. You must be ROOT user with no X-server running (init 3).

2. To check for existing NVIDIA packages, at the prompt type: 
'rpm -qa | grep nv'

3. Remove any previous package, for example, at the prompt type: 
'rpm -e nvidia-6628-1.1.x86_64.rpm'

4. To install the new package, at the prompt type: 
'rpm -ivh nvidia-6633-1.4.x86_64.rpm'

NOTE: 
The previous steps will install the package file on the system, but they do not 
configure the new driver. 

5. Configure the new package by executing the following script: 
'/opt/hp/graphics/nvidia/configure'

NOTE: 
Step 5 will place/build, and configure the NVIDIA accelerated graphics module. 
It will also move aside any current XF86Config file and put a standard NVIDIA 
file in place.
