DESCRIPTION:
This package contains the tools and image needed to restore or replace the 
operating system image on the listed thin client models running the Microsoft 
Windows XP Embedded (XPe) Operating System.

- The image contained in this SoftPaq must be deployed on a 256-MB flash memory 
card (or larger). The image will not fit on a 192-MB flash memory card.

ENHANCEMENTS: 
This is the initial release of Windows XPe with Service Pack 2. The image 
contains the following software:

- TeemNT 5.0.1 Build 26A44 
- Sygate Security Agent 4.0.2965
- Microsoft Windows Media Player 9.0
- Altiris Client 6.1.362.0 
- NX Support (applies only to HP Compaq Thin Client t5710 models configured 
with 1.1-GHz processor)
- Updated Sidgen.exe 

FIXES: 
- Fixes issue that occurred with the USB Storage graphics user interface (GUI) 
in image build 211.
- Fixes issue with slow domain login (in image build 211) by updating the 
Sygate STDDEF.DAT file.

PREREQUISITES: 
- 256 MB (or larger) flash memory card is required for image deployment.

HOW TO USE: 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 

This SoftPaq contains a utility that is designed to aid in the deployment of 
this factory image. 

During the installation, you are prompted to choose one of the following 
actions: 
- Create an ISO image for CD mastering software.
- Format a USB drive with the image and tools.
- Unpack the contents into a directory of your choice. 

If you are not sure about how to proceed, or if you want to integrate this 
image into a managed environment, choose ''Deployment'' and review the 
documentation provided in the RECOVERY.PDF file. 

NOTE: To determine the version of your operating system, click the Start 
button, which is located in the lower-left corner of the display screen, and 
then select HP System Information. In the System Information panel that is 
displayed, check the value beside the Image Version label.
