PREREQUISITES: N/A HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. The self-extracting file stores the drivers in the C:\SWSETUP\IAA_4.5.1.6809 directory. FOR OPERATING SYSTEM SATA RAID ARRAY IMAGE: Install the driver using the F6 Installation function when installing Microsoft Windows or build a pre-installation image with the driver. The drivers can be extracted from the iata_enu.exe file. To extract the drivers for use with the F6 Installation function, or to build into a pre-installation image, execute the following command in a DOS shell: c:\iata_enu.exe -a -a -p c:\ The preceding command extracts the following files to the path location specified in the command: - iaAHCI.cat (8 KB) - iaAHCI.inf (3 KB) - iaStor.cat (8 KB) - iaStor.inf (4 KB) - iaStor.sys (467 KB) - TXTSETUP.OEM (3 KB) FOR A DATA SATA RAID ARRAY IMAGE: 1. Install the driver and application after you have the operating system on a different hard drive. 2. Install two SATA hard drives to the onboard SATA ports and enable the SATA RAID option ROM in the systems BIOS setup prior to booting to Windows. 3. Execute the following command from C:\SWSETUP\IAA_4.5.1.6809: iata_enu.exe The preceding command installs the IAA 4.5.1.6809 driver and the IAA application that configures and controls the SATA RAID arrays.
