ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
FIXES:
- Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 and Intel PRO/Wireless 2915 Network Connection
driver Version 9.0.1.9 for Windows 2000:
- Fixes an intermittent issue where a WLAN connection may be dropped
while the Intel PRO/Wireless 2915 Network Connection is in "Continuous
Aware" mode (CAM) and is channel scanning.
- Fixes a potential issue where the may system stop responding if the
WLAN is enabled while the system is entering Suspend or Hibernate mode.
When this issue occurs, the user has to enable the WLAN after the
system disables it while preparing to enter Suspend or Hibernate mode.
This issue affects Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 and Intel PRO/Wireless
2915 network connections.

- No changes were made to the Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter
driver (Version 1.2.3.14) for Windows XP. It is the same version that was
provided in the superseded SoftPaq.
PREREQUISITES:
- For systems with the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 Network Connection and
Intel PROSet Software:
If Intel PROSet Software is installed and the installed version is earlier
than version 9.0, it is recommended that the Intel PROSet software be
uninstalled before upgrading the driver. If the Intel PROSet software is
required, install Intel PROSet 9.0.1 software (available in SoftPaq
Number SP29333) after the driver is upgraded.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive and
change to that directory.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to
unpack the files. The number of files to be created and total file size is
displayed. You are prompted to specify the target directory
for the files or to use the download directory (default).

3. After the files have been unpacked, the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded in
Step 1 can be deleted, if desired.

NOTE: After the files are unpacked, the Setup program should run automatically.
If the setup program (setup.exe) needs to be run manually, look for it in
the download directory.
