PREREQUISITES: N/A HOW TO USE: 1. You must be ROOT user with no X-server running (init 3). 2. Check for existing nvidia packages, at prompt type: 'rpm -qa | grep nv' 3. Remove any previous package, for example: 'rpm -e nvidia-6111-1.0.x86_64.rpm' 4. Install the new package: 'rpm -ivh nvidia-6628-1.1.x86_64.rpm' NOTE: This will install the package file onto the system, but does not configure the new driver. 5. Configure the new package by executing script: '/opt/hp/graphics/nvidia/configure' NOTE: This will place/build, and configure the nVIDIA accelerated graphics module. **It will also move aside any current XF86Config file and put a standard nVIDIA one in place.
