DESCRIPTION:
The HP Vulnerability and Patch Management Pack
Critical Update allows VPM to complete patch 
acquisitions in instances when they may have 
previously been terminated. For example, a patch 
acquisition would have been terminated if one or 
more Microsoft® Security Bulletins were released 
without the information necessary for VPM to 
properly acquire these bulletins. After applying 
this update, VPM will skip bulletins with missing 
information about affected products, affected 
service packs, patches, download locations, as 
well as other descriptive information, and proceed 
with the acquisition of correctly formatted bulletins.

Before installing the VPM Critical Update, be sure 
that all VPM functions are stopped and that no VPM 
events are scheduled to run in the next five minutes.
Installing this update will shutdown background VPM 
services.

This VPM Critical Update supersedes previous critical 
updates.

HOW TO USE: 
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.
2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
