DESCRIPTION:
This package creates a ROMPaq firmware diskette that can be used to locally
restore or upgrade the System BIOS in the listed notebook models with
KAM Family ROM. 

NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F2 on the target 
notebook during system startup to run the Setup Utility and then view BIOS
revision.

HOW TO USE: 

1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to an empty directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the diskette has been created, the SoftPaq file downloaded in Step 2
   can be deleted, if desired.

4. Power Off the notebook.

5. Place the newly created ROMPaq diskette in Drive A: and restart the notebook
to update the system BIOS.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS 
PROCEDURE!
