DESCRIPTION:
This package creates a ROMPaq firmware diskette that can be used to locally
restore or upgrade the System BIOS in the listed notebook models with
a 68BAF Family ROM. 

NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, run the Setup Utility by 
pressing F10 on the target computer during startup and then view
File/System Information.

ENHANCEMENTS:
 - Updates BIOS to include the new Intel On-screen branding (OSB) logo. 
 
FIXES:
 - Fixes issue with mouse that occurred when Ctrl+Alt was pressed. 
 - Fixes issue where HP printers would eject a blank page after seven minutes.
 - Fixes issue where the wireless option changed from DISABLE to ENABLE
   if the notebook was Powered Off while in the F10 Setup menu.
 - Fixes issue where unnecessary blank spaces were inserted after the 
   serial number.

HOW TO USE: 

1. Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a temporary directory on your hard drive.

3. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. When
   prompted, insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the bootable
   diskette.

4. After the diskette has been created, the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded in 
   Step 2 can be deleted, if desired.

5. Power Off the computer.

6. Place the newly created ROMPaq Diskette in Drive A: and Power On the 
   computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to upgrade the System BIOS.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS 
PROCEDURE!
