DESCRIPTION:
This package contains an updated Wireless LAN (WLAN) driver for the listed
handheld models and operating systems.

IMPORTANT: This Wireless LAN driver update requires ROM Version 1.10.xx. 
           To check the version of ROM installed on the handheld, tap Start,
           then tap Settings, then tap System, then tap Asset Viewer, and
           then tap Version. If the handheld does not have version 1.10.xx
           installed, please apply one of the following two SoftPaqs before
           installing this update:
             - For iPAQ Pocket PC h4100 Series handhelds, apply SoftPaq 
               Number SP28385, "HP iPAQ Pocket PC h4100 Series ROM Update"
	     - For iPAQ Pocket PC h4300 Series handhelds, apply SoftPaq 
               Number SP28375, "HP iPAQ Pocket PC h4300 Series ROM Update"

FIXES:

 - Fixes issue where the handheld fails to switch between access points 
   with different index keys.
 - Fixes communication issue with Cisco Access Points that have Aironet 
   Extensions activated.
 - Fixes issue where the handheld fails to reconnect to an access point
   with Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) enabled.
 - Fixes roaming issue between an open access point and an access point
   with WPA Pre-Shared Key version (WPA-PSK) enabled.
     
PREREQUISITES: 

 - Requires ROM Version 1.10.xx. If ROM version 1.10.xx is not installed, 
   download and install SoftPaq Number SP28385 for an iPAQ Pocket PC h4100
   Series handheld or SoftPaq Number SP28375 for an iPAQ Pocket PC h4300 
   Series handheld BEFORE installing this ROM update.

 - Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7 or later is required.

HOW TO USE:

    1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

    2. Establish an Activesync connection between the iPAQ Pocket PC and 
       host PC using a USB connection. 

    3. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions
       to complete the update.
