        ProLiant DL145 ROM O01 (03/19/2004)
        ============================================

           Updated ROM to prevent system lockups that were occurring
           when the F10 key was pressed to enter system SETUP prior
           to POST painting the HP ProLiant splash screen.

           Updated ROM to correct issue where Microsoft Windows 2003
           Emergency Management Services (EMS) was not functional.  This
           occurred because a pointer to the Serial Port Redirection (SPCR)
           table was not pointed to by the ACPI RSDT table.




HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP27698.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP27698 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP27698.EXE if you wish.
