ENHANCEMENTS:
- This is a re-posting of the 2.0.2 driver that was released in previous
SoftPaq SP27053, but with the binary and source RPMs bundled together in a TAR
archive.

FIXES:
- Fixes silent data problem (found in Version 1.0.0 of the driver) for large
data transfers.

PREREQUISITES:
- This package is ONLY for RedHat 7.2 Linux running kernel 2.4.7_10.

NOTE: This package will NOT work for any other kernel or OS version. The source
RPM is provided by GPL and as a convenience for manual use on other kernels.

HOW TO USE:
1. Download and unpack the TAR archive by using 'tar -xvf
aic79xx-2.0.2-2.4.7_10.1.i386.tar'

2. Install the binary rpm, aic79xx-2.0.2-2.4.7_10.1.i386.rpm using the RedHat
Package Manger. To do this, with root privilages, type at a console prompt:

'rpm -qva | grep aic' to find out if you already have a version of the aic79xx
driver installed. If you do, use:

'rpm -Uvh aic79xx-2.0.2-2.4.7_10.1.i386.rpm'

otherwise use:

'rpm -ivh aic79xx-2.0.2-2.4.7_10.1.i386.rpm'

3. Verify /etc/modules.conf is updated with 'scsi_hostadapter' aliases
referencing the aic79xx driver module.

4. Reboot your machine to begin using the updated driver.
