PREREQUISITES: Requires a USB-to-Serial Converter. HOW TO USE: NOTE: To install the software in this SoftPaq, you must be logged in with Administrator privileges. 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files. NOTE: After the files have been unpacked, the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded in Step 1 can be deleted, if desired. 3. Plug the USB-to-Serial Converter into a USB port on the computer. Microsoft Windows finds the hardware and prompts you for the appropriate device drivers. When prompted, provide the location of the download directory (see Step 1). The default location for the download directory is C:\SWSETUP\SP27075). If the device is already plugged into your computer and a yellow explanation point (also known as a ''Yellow Bang'') is displayed in the device manager next to the USB-to-Serial Converter, use the following steps to load the device drivers: 1. In the Device Manager, double-click the USB-to-Serial Device. 2. Select the DRIVERS tab. 3. Click the UPDATE DRIVER button. 4.
