Download and unpack the TAR & GZIPPED archive by using 'tar -xvzf bcm5700-6.0.2-2.4.20_8.2.i386.tgz. 2. Install the binary rpm, bcm5700-6.0.2-2.4.20_8.2.i386.rpm using the RedHat Package Manger. To do this, with root privilages, type at a console prompt: 'rpm -qva | grep bcm' to find out if you already have a version of the bcm5700 driver installed. If you do, use: 'rpm -U bcm5700-6.0.2-2.4.20_8.2.i386.rpm' otherwise use: 'rpm -ivh bcm5700-6.0.2-2.4.20_8.2.i386.rpm 3. Add ‘alias eth0 bcm5700’ to the /etc/modules.conf file if it's not already there. 4. Reboot and configure the bcm5700 networking driver when Kudzu prompts you.
