HOW TO USE:
1. Download and unpack the TAR & GZIPPED archive by using 'tar -xvzf
aic79xx-1.3.10-2.4.20_8.2.i386.tgz'. A .rpm binary will result.

2. Install the binary rpm using the RedHat Package Manger. To do this, with
root privilages, type at a console prompt:

'rpm -qva | grep aic' to find out if you already have a version of the aic79xx
driver installed. If you do, use:

'rpm -U aic79xx-1.3.10-2.4.20_8.2.i386.rpm'

otherwise use:

'rpm -ivh aic79xx-1.3.10-2.4.20_8.2.i386.rpm'

3. Verify /etc/modules.conf is updated with 'scsi_hostadapter' aliases
referencing the aic79xx driver module.

4. Reboot your machine to begin using the updated driver.
