PREREQUISITES: 
This driver requires DirectX 9.0 or later.  
	
      To check the DirectX version:
       1. Click on Start and select Run.
       2. Type in "dxdiag" and click OK.
       3. The DirectX version is listed under the System Tab.

If needed, DirectX 9.0 is available for download from the Microsoft web site.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq.EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.


TO CHECK VERSION NUMBER:
1. Open Display Properties (accessible through Windows Control Panel)
2. Click on the Settings tab
3. Click on the Advanced button
4. Click on the ATI Options tab
5. The Packaging Version is the video driver version number
