This Softpaq contains Linux version updates to the
HP IP Console Switch Viewer Software Linux version 2.0
with upgrades and enhancements which support the HP IP Console 
Switch hardware devices. Softpaq SP26215 can be used to install
the latest technology to enhance HP IP Console environment
allowing monitoring of servers in remote/local racks and allowing
support for Active Directory for HP IP Console Switches licensed
for that option. Additionally you will need to upgrade the HP 
IP Console Switch firmware to version 3.0.0 or greater using SP28994.exe
to install Directory Services Integration support. SP28994 can be
obtained from:

The Directory Services Integration for HP IP Console Switch allows
KVM user and Administrator management to be migrated from the local
database within the switch to the centralized database of a Microsoft
Active Directory without requiring a Directory Schema Extension.

To purchase a license key to enable Directory Services Integration
follow the following instructions:

5. From the Search results click on Product Overview

Purpose: Recommended Update for new enhancements including
Active Directory support and minorbug fixes for previously limited
features.  HP recommends that this Softpaq be installed.

HOW TO USE:

[Using SoftPaq Version 5.x utility to unpack one or more files to the hard disk:]

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a compressed tar file with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Extract the compressed tar file by using the tar command. ex:
  tar zxvf <filename>. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT in the created directory."]  

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
