This Softpaq is used for remote iLO firmware update via the iLO web-based interface, iLO CLP interface or the iLO XML scripting process. New features - Support for industry standard command line protocol (CLP). HP has worked with key industry partners within the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) to define an industry standard set of commands. The implementation is based on the command set defined in the Server Management Command Line Protocol Specification, v1.00 Draft. Support for configuration of Power Regulator for ProLiant feature. Power Regulator enables your ProLiant server with policy based power manage- ment to save on server power and cooling costs during periods of low application activity. This feature is supported on ProLiant servers with Intel XEON processors with EM64T technology and the latest system ROM dated 12/2/2004 or later. Added option to forward p-class infrastructure alerts as SNMP traps. In addition to the recording of p-Class infrastructure alerts in the Integrated Management Log (IML), the alerts generated by the p-Class infrastructure can be configured to generate SNMP traps. This support allows for more complete integration into SNMP standards management tools of the p-Class infrastructure (regardless of OS state). Support for Netscape 7.2 and Mozilla 1.7.3. Support for RedHat Enterprise Linux WorkStation 3.0 and Novell/SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop as a client operating systems. The documentation for the CLP and scipting interface has been moved from the HP Integrated Lights-Out User Guide to a new document called HP Integrated Lights-Out 1.70 Scripting and Command Line Resource Guide. Problems fixed from last release - 1. Updated the virtual media applet for Linux clients based on the 2.6 kernel to correct read failures on the virtual CD. 2. The virtual media applet no longer disables the "Browse" button while connected. Users may now change virtual floppy or CD-ROM images while connected, making the installation of a multiple CD operating system easier. 3. The scriptable virtual media interface allows the user to insert multiple CD images without an EJECT command, making the installation of a multiple CD operating system easier. 4. Fixed a Remote Console mouse issue with Windows Server 2003 operating system where the Remote Console mouse would sometimes not function on DL360G4 and BL20G3p servers. 5. Updated the XML parser to ignore RILOE-II tag. Documentation - 1.
