DESCRIPTION:
This FW update package will update the Dual Channel U320 SCSI HBA to the
latest BIOS v5.05.16.

FIXES

- Added code to handle 'unhandled' INT13 requests if all previous parsing of
the request failed.
- Modified code to recognize EV and non-EV environment in HP servers.
- Hook into INT40h vector along with the INT13h vector so interrupt commands destined for the floppy drive do get passed on correctly while handling EV
boot device.
- Channel qualification will also detect channels that are turned off.
- Drives on secondary adapters (nonboot) adapter) will be supported only on
narrow bus.

HOW TO CREATE FIRMWARE UPDATE DISKETTE:

1.  Obtain 1 (one) DOS formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file
    downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based
    on the SoftPaq Number.

3.  Self-extracting executable will launch Quick Release Sector Transfer
    utility (QRST5) that helps you in creating "Firmware Update v5.05.16
    for Dual Channel U320 SCSI HBA" diskette. Follow the on-screen
    instructions.

INSTALLATION:

To install the firmware/BIOS to the Dual Channel U320 SCSI HBA, refer
"BIOS v5.05.16 Release Notes.txt" file available on the diskette.
