HOW TO USE: 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack 
the files.

3. Copy the following unpacked files to a DOS-bootable diskette:
- AUTOEXEC.BAT 
- DIAGCFG.BIN 
- b57udiag.exe 
- EE5702C2.35A

4. Place the diskette created above in the diskette drive of the hp workstation 
xw6000 to be updated.

5. Restart the workstation, allowing it to boot from the diskette.

6. The AUTOEXEC.BAT file on the diskette will execute at startup and you will 
see a series of reading/writing messages. The last message displayed is 
"Upgrading bootcode from 2.24 to 2.35". When complete, the A:\ prompt will 
appear.

7. Remove the diskette and restart the workstation.
