Download and unpack the TAR archive, this will unpack to a aic79xx_1_3_10 directory. 2. Install the binary rpm, aic79xx-1.3.10-4.i386.rpm using the RedHat Package Manger. To do this, with root privilages type at a console prompt: 'rpm -i aic79xx-1.3.10-4.i386.rpm' 3. Verify /etc/modules.conf is updated with scsi_hostadapter aliases referencing the aic79xx_1_3_10 driver module. 4. Reboot your machine to begin using the updated driver.
