DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
for the latest maintenance releases of ProLiant DL740 Server products.

		  	   ProLiant DL740 ROM P47 (08/14/03)
		       ========================================
			 
			   Corrected a potential issue where the system 
			   would hang after an F12 forced PXE boot failed
			   or control was returned to the System ROM.                  
			
	   		   Fixed a possible system hang issue that occurred
	   		   during the loading of VMKernel. This was due to the
	   		   IOAPIC ID's not in the VMware expected range of 0 to 15.
			
											
HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP25173.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP25173 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP25173.EXE if you wish.
