DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
               for the latest maintenance releases of HP ProLiant
               ML330 G3 Servers.

        HP ProLiant ML330 G3 ROM D15 (07/26/2003)
        ============================================

           Added support for the latest Intel Xeon processors.
	   	
	   Updated to new PXE Option ROM version 6.2.11

	   Updated to new SCSI Option ROM version 3.02.3

	   Enhanced the BIOS Serial Console support to keep certain 
	   legacy Operating Systems, for example Microsoft DOS, from 
	   resetting the COM port attributes.


Problems Fixed -


        HP ProLiant ML330 G3 ROM D15 (07/26/2003)
        ============================================

           Corrected intermittent United Linux system hang.  Occasionally the 
	   United Linux applications "SAX2" or "hwinfo --monitor" would 
	   fail to run.

           Corrected a potential issue where the system would hang 
           after an F12 forced PXE boot failed or control was returned
           to the System ROM.



HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP25103.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP25103 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP25103.EXE if you wish.
