DESCRIPTION:  Insight Manager 7 SP 2.1 full kit

   This softpaq includes all components necessary to install
   Insight Manager 7 SP2.1.  It can be used for new installs or
   for upgrading Insight Manager 7 SP 1 or earlier.  It cannot be
   used to upgrade from Insight Manager 7 SP2.  If you already have
   Insight Manager 7 SP2 installed, then you should install the 
   Insight Manager 7 SP2.1 patch (SP24901.exe) and the Insight
   Management MIBs version 6.40 (SP24902.exe).
   
   Insight Manager 7 SP 2.1 adds the following enhancements\fixes
   since Insight Manager 7 SP2.
   - Includes the 6.40 Insight Management MIBs precompiled so that
     SNMP storage traps can be received from 6.40 Insight Agents.
   - Updated RSA code for security fix.
   - Updated Java Plug-in and runtime environment to version 
     1.3.1_08 for security fix.
   - Modified to protect from cross-site scripting attacks.
   - Fixed several problems with running reports, including a fix
     for running with a non-"sa" SQL account.  This also includes
     fixes to properly show DVD drives and Itanium processors.
   - Allow changing of SNMP community strings when devices are in the
     critical state.
   - Fixed problem with Insight Manager 7 server potentially showing up
     twice in the device list. See Customer Advisory "ES030709_CW02"
     for more information.

                                              
HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
   to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
   executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file.  It
   will unpack the files, and run 'install.bat'.  This will present
   a menu similar to the following:

     2 - View "User's Guide" (Adobe format)
           
     3 - View "Release Notes" (Adobe format)

3. It is recommended that you view the "User's Guide"
   and the "Release notes" before selecting to install Insight
   Manager 7.   These documents are in .pdf format and
   require Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing.

4. After the installation files have been created, you may delete the
   self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

6. After a successful installation, you may delete the files unpacked
   in step 2 if you wish.
