DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
for the latest releases of ProLiant DL560 G1 Server products.

	    ProLiant DL560 G1 ROM P30 (06/19/2003)
        ============================================	
	    Changed RBSU default settings to disable the Virtual Install Disk.  

	    Add support for the latest Intel Pentium 4 Xeon processors.  
		  

	    Added a ROM Based Setup Utility (RBSU) Advanced Option to modify
	    processor performance settings.  HP has determined that some 
	    applications may benefit by modifying the "CPU Performance Settings."  
	    Based on the type of application run on the server, this setting may 
	    impact system performance.  The system is optimized for memory 
	    by default.

	    Add message during POST if a system battery failure is detected.  
	    Previously, the system would simply go back to default settings 
	    in this condition. This should help customers and service more 
	    easily troubleshoot issues with systems losing their configuration 
	    settings due to failed system batteries.

		    	 HOW TO USE:


1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP24798.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP24798 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP24798.EXE if you wish.
