It does not monitor the wireless keyboard.  

Note:  This will program the receiver to work with the HP Wireless mouse only.  If the 
       HP Wireless keyboard and HP Wireless Mouse are being used, then obtain the 
       HP Wireless Keyboard and Wireless Mouse Applet, which is available in Softpaq 
       number SP24299.  Please check the HP web site for the latest version.

HOW TO USE: 

NOTE: To install the software in this SoftPaq, you must be logged in
      with Administrator privileges.

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
   to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
   executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
   and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-
   extracting file downloaded in step 1.
