DESCRIPTION:
This contains the NVIDIA Quadro4 980 XGL Video BIOS and Flash Utility for the
workstation models listed below. A small number of NVIDIA Quadro4 980 XGL graphics cards 
were shipped with an unsupported video BIOS version 4.28.20.19.15.  This SoftPaq contains 
the supported video BIOS, flash utility and bootable diskette creator.

HOW TO USE: 

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.  The file downloaded
is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq number
SP24246.

2. Insert a blank 1.44MB floppy diskette in drive A:.  This diskette will be
erased by the SoftPaq.  Before proceeding, make certain the diskette is not
write protected, does not contain viruses, and does not contain data or
critical files.

3. Execute the downloaded SoftPaq file and follow the on-screen instructions to
create the video BIOS update diskette.

4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file
downloaded in step 1.

5. To install the video BIOS update: Insert the floppy diskette in drive A: and
reboot the workstation to be updated.  The system will boot from the diskette.

6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

7. Once the video BIOS update is complete, remove the diskette and cycle power
to the system.
