DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
               for the latest maintenance releases of HP
               ML570 G2 Servers.

        HP ProLiant ML570 G2 ROM P32 (02/04/2003)

	    Added support for Hot-Add Memory functionality which
		allows the amount of memory to be upgraded without
		rebooting or powering down the server.

		Added support for Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
                

Problems Fixed -


        HP ProLiant ML570 G2 ROM P32 (02/04/2003)
        ============================================
	
	    Updated to fix issue which could cause PCI cards
	    which request memory resources greater than 128 
	    Mbytes (extremely rare) to not be properly 
	    allocated their resources. This was added to
	    specifically fix an Avaya PCI Card.

		Updated to fix date problem when the date was
	    set back to 1900-1999.

		Updated to fix BIOS Serial Console support for
		cables that don't include the Carrier Detect signal.

		Updated to fix intermittent problem where a Windows
		2000 install would hang when the system was shutting down.
        


HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP23658.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP23658 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP23658.EXE if you wish.
