DESCRIPTION:  This Soft Pack contains sample scripts, configuration files, and jobs 
used to deploy ProLiant BL20p G2 and BL40p Clusters for Modular Array 8000 
(HSG80) and Enterprise Virtual Array 3000/5000 (EVA) storage subsystems 
using the ProLiant Essentials Rapid Deployment Pack Version 1.40. This 
Soft Pack includes deployment scripts for both Windows 2000 Advanced Server 
clusters and Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition clusters. These 
files should be used with the documents contained within this Soft 
Pack, document numbers 5981-8708EN, 5981-8709EN, 5981-8710EN, and 
5981-8711EN as appropriate for the deployment scenario.

HOW TO USE:

[NOTE:  Depending on whether you are using the Version 2 or Version 3 
utility and whether the Soft Pack creates diskettes or unpacks files to the 
hard disk, use one of the following examples as a guideline for the 
How To Use section.]

[Using Soft Pack Version 3.x utility to unpack one or more files to the hard disk:]

1. Download the Soft Pack to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the Soft Pack Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT in the created directory."]  

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.

 [Using Soft Pack Version 2.x utility to create one or more diskettes:]

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2.  Download the Soft Pack to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the Soft Pack Number above.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette has been created, you may delete the  
Soft Pack file downloaded in step 2.

5. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT on the created diskette."]

executable with a filename based on the Soft Pack Number above.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3.  After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT in the created directory."]
