TITLE: CPQFlash Utility for Evo D510 (686O2 ROM)

DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq creates files that contain the CPQFlash utility and a binary image of the 
System ROM for the Evo models listed below with a 686O2 Family ROM.  

The CPQFlash utility is used to locally flash the System ROM on PCs through a Windows 
environment.

The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running the Setup Utility by pressing 
F10 on the target computer during system power on of the computer, and viewing File/System 
Information.  This information can be saved into a text file by selecting File/Save to 
Diskette.

 - Updates microcode patch for Intel Pentium 4 C1 processors.
 - Copies Serial Number into Asset Tag field when performing a Set Defaults in F10
   Setup.  Previous ROMS cleared the Asset Tag field.
 - Removes Automatic Acoustic Management setting from F10 Setup.

FIXES:
 - Corrects lockup in BIOS start-up when HP PSC 2210 printer/fax/scanner/copier is 
   installed.

HOW TO USE: 

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.  The file downloaded is a 
self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.  It is 
recommended to create a directory called \CPQFlash and copy the SoftPaq to that directory.  

2.  Refer to the CPQFlash utility documentation (CPQFlash.txt) for further instructions on 
using the CPQFlash utility to flash the System ROM on your PC.

WARNING:  DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR ATTEMPT TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER DURING THE
UPGRADE PROCESS!!!
