TITLE: CPQFlash Utility for Evo N600c (686DF ROM) VERSION: 2002.06.02 Rev A DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq creates files that contain the CPQFlash utility and a binary image of the System ROM for the Evo models listed below with a 686DF Family ROM. The CPQFlash utility is used to locally flash the System ROM on PCs through a Windows environment. The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running the Setup Utility by pressing F10 on the target computer during system power on of the computer, and viewing File/System Information. IMPORTANT: Users with BIOS version 10/13/01 or earlier ROM must update their ROM/BIOS to version 10/17/01 before upgrading to this version. The Softpaq for BIOS version 10/17/01 (SP21460.EXE) is also included in this Softpaq and will be extracted in the same saved directory specified. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 3. After the system has been shutdown, you may delete all temporary files and the SoftPaq file downloaded in step 1. IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE!
