Re-branding in Progress!!

Toward the effort of completing the Compaq/HP merger, we are beginning
the process of re-branding ProLiant Storages as well as the products
used to manage ProLiant Storages.  The Compaq Management Agents will be
re-branded as the HP Insight Management Agents and Compaq Insight
Manager 7 will be re-branded to Insight Manager 7. The newly renamed
software will be referenced in pertinent documentation beginning with
the release of SmartStart v6.00.

As part of the re-branding process, you may notice some inconsistency
between product user interfaces and documentation.  For example, some
screen captures, legacy applications, or, documents may still reference
old product names or include pre-merger Compaq logos and icons. In all
cases, the name "Compaq Management Agents" is equivalent to "HP Insight
Management Agents" and "Compaq Insight Manager 7" is equivalent to
"Insight Manager 7".

Note:  This product is the update of version 5.10a, which is supported by 
EFS version 5.42a. hp Proliant Servers running EFS version later than 5.48a 
shall install 5.10b version of Management Agents.

Disclaimer: hp Management Agents version 5.10b, doesn't claim support for 
hp ProLiant servers running SCO OpenServer 5 and EFS version later than 
5.42a. But, the agents might install and run successfully in the above
mentioned configuration without supporting any new or existing features.

DESCRIPTION:  Creates 5 diskettes that contains the 'custom' installable 
hp Management Agents for Servers - SCO OpenServer 5, Ver 5.10b
 
ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
    
  hp Foundation Agents:
     1. Remove dependency on EFS. 

  hp Server Agents:
     1. Remove dependency on EFS.
     2. Fixed issue related to health agents as ioctl fail was causing health
	agent to exit.
       
  hp Storage Agents:
     1. Remove dependency on EFS.
   
  hp NIC Agents:
     1. Remove dependency on EFS.
  
HOW TO USE:

1.  Computer running DOS or Windows, download the SoftPaq to a directory on 
your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is 
a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files will be extracted,
        SP21998._01
        SP21998._02
        SP21998._03
        SP21998._04
        SP21998._05
        README.TXT
        QRST5.EXE

3. Refer to README.TXT for instructions on using QRST5 to create
   the diskettes and steps to install the software.
4. After the installation is complete, you may delete the downloaded
   file SP21998.exe and the files unpacked in step 2 from your hard
   drive.
