DESCRIPTION:  
This Soft Pack contains sample scripts used to deploy ProLiant BL20p G2 and BL40p
Clusters for MA8000 (HSG80) and Enterprise Virtual Array 3000/5000 storage subsystems.
This Soft Pack includes deployment scripts for both Windows 2000 Advanced Server 
clusters using the ProLiant Essentials Rapid Deployment Pack Version 1.30 or 1.31, 
and Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition clusters using the ProLiant Essentials 
Rapid Deployment Pack Version 1.31.  Four documents included with this Soft Pack  
detail the steps required to use the deployment scripts.

HOW TO USE:

[NOTE:  Depending on whether you are using the Version 2 or Version 3 
utility and whether the SoftPaq creates diskettes or unpacks files to the 
hard disk, use one of the following examples as a guideline for the 
How To Use section.]

[Using SoftPaq Version 3.x utility to unpack one or more files to the hard disk:]

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT in the created directory."]  

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.

 [Using SoftPaq Version 2.x utility to create one or more diskettes:]

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette has been created, you may delete the  
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT on the created diskette."]

[Using SoftPaq Version 2.x utility to unpack one or more files to the hard disk:]

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3.  After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT in the created directory."]
