DESCRIPTION:  This Soft Pack contains sample scripts used to deploy a ProLiant DL380 G2
Packaged Cluster using the ProLiant Essentials Rapid Deployment Pack Version 1.20.
These scripts should be used with the document, "Rapid Deployment Guide For the
ProLiant DL380 G2 Packaged Cluster Using the ProLiant Essentials rapdi Deployment Pack V1.2", document number 1717-0702A-WWEN.


Enhancements/Fixes:
The files contained in this Soft Pack are streamlined versions of the scripts contained in the original Soft Pack SP19851.exe. Please refer to the guide contained in the Soft Pack for more information.


HOW TO USE:

[NOTE:  Depending on whether you are using the Version 2 or Version 3 
utility and whether the Soft Pack creates diskettes or unpacks files to the 
hard disk, use one of the following examples as a guideline for the 
How To Use section.]

[Using Soft Pack Version 3.x utility to unpack one or more files to the hard disk:]

1. Download the Soft Pack to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the Soft Pack Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT in the created directory."]  

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.

 [Using Soft Pack Version 2.x utility to create one or more diskettes:]

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2.  Download the Soft Pack to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the Soft Pack Number above.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette has been created, you may delete the  
Soft Pack file downloaded in step 2.

5. For installation instructions, [add appropriate instructions, such as "refer 
to README.TXT on the created diskette."]

the files, or default to the download directory.

self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

to README.TXT in the created directory."]
